Since 2010 we have been running a Youth Project for young people in Brookmans Park, Welham Green, Potters Bar and the surrounding area.

We run weekly meetings as well as activities and residential experiences during the holidays and weekends for our 260 members and volunteers.

Our Friday evening meetings are split into three sections based on school year group. Year 5/6 usually meet from 6-7:30pm, while year 7/8 and 9/10/11 meet from 7:45-9:15pm at separate venues.

More information about the Project can be found be scrolling down or use the menu at the top.

Meetings

Our Friday Evening meetings are a mixture of structured and unstructured activities at local venues in the villages. We also run trips out to other local venues.

Activities

You name it. We will do it if we can! Watch our video which shows things that we have been up to recently.

Residentials

We run a range of residential trips every year staying under canvas or in buildings. For our younger members this may be a one night trip within Hertfordshire. Our older members go away for up to a week either in this country or sometimes abroad.

Safety

Our overriding aim is to ensure your child is happy and safe. All of our regular leaders and helpers are DBS checked and suitably trained. We follow national guidance on activities, ratios etc. You can download our policies by using the menu above.
